Limoges Candlesticks Hand Painted Tea Roses Signed Dated 1904
Presented are these gorgeous, hand painted, French porcelain candlestick holders featuring, on both, garlands of ballet pink and scarlet, tea roses nestled in lush greenery. These stunning, romantic, floral motifs were meticulously hand painted on a classic white, mint green, sea foam and canary yellow, backdrop. Each stands, from their gold, scalloped rims to their wide, fluted bases, 7.25 inches. Reversed on both is a William Guerin Limoges, France hallmark as well as the remarkably talented, artist's signature who dated their works-of-art in Roman Numerals MCMIV which is 1904. One candlestick bears the numbers 296 on the bottom while the other, 298.
Without exception, these hand painted, artist signed and dated, French antique beauties are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
