Antique French Limoges China 3 Piece Tea Set Hand Painted and Signed by JH Stouffer Artist Carl Buschbeck
This stunning trio consist of a tea pot, lidded sugar and creamer meticulously hand painted in J.H. Stouffer's "Poppies and Wheat" pattern. The artist, Carl Buschbeck, who originally worked for the Pickard Studio, signed all three in gold with his nickname, "Bek." The teapot stands, from its golden finial to its base, 5 inches and from its regal handle to its stately spout is 8.5 inches. The sugar stands 4 inches while the creamer stands 2.5 inches. Reversed on each is a Jean Pouyat Limoges hallmark. The sugar also bears a Stouffer hallmark used between 1906 and 1914.
These hand painted and artist signed, threesome are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
