Antique Haviland Limoges Tray Hand Painted Pink Roses Signed
Presented is this absolutely stunning, antique, Limoges porcelain tray by Theodore Haviland. The beautiful, centerpiece was meticulously hand painted by the exceptionally, talented artist, G.C. Davis who signed their masterpiece on the front. On a moss green and canary yellow backdrop, Davis hand painted a large, romantic Victorian bouquet filled with ballet pink, cabbage roses, rose buds and emerald green, foliage. Completing the overall beauty of the artwork is a radiant, coin gold which highlights both the reticulated handles and scalloped rim. It measures, from one handle to the other, 12.75 inches and, at the widest point, measures 9 inches making it the perfect size for a lady's vanity or to display a tea set. The Theodore Haviland hallmark on the back was used between 1894 and 1903.
Without exception, this hand painted and artist signed, French, antique beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
