Antique Limoges Tea Pot Hand Painted Cherubs Butterflies Jeweled
Offered is this absolutely stunning, T&V Limoges tea pot featuring, on one side, a naked nymph with flowing blonde hair riding in a floral chariot pulled by large, colorful butterflies. A single chubby cherub leads the way. On the opposite side are more beautiful, butterflies flying in and out of fluffy clouds. The lid and throat of this gorgeous, European porcelain tea pot is decorated with a raised, gilded floral design with the center of each flower embellished with a ballet pink, enamel "jewel." A radiant coin gold highlights the regal spout, final, round base and over-sized magnificent, curved handle. This French beauty stands, from its golden finial to its round base, an impressive, 11 inches and reversed is a Tressemann & Vogt Limoges, France hallmark used during the early 1890's.
Without exception, this hand painted, antique French beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage whatsoever.
