Stunning T&V Limoges, France porcelain blank meticulously hand painted and signed by a most talented artist, Elizabeth who proudly signed her work of art on the back. Featured on one half of the divided serving tray is a large fish swimming in and out of seaweed, colorful coral and large seashells. On the other side is a peaceful, sea-life setting complete with mollusks, seashells and underwater ferns. This unique, serving dish, presented at a formal dinner during the Victorian era, was used to serve a fish delicacy with a delectable sauce to guests. It measures 10.5 inches long and, at the widest point is, 5.75 inches. Reversed is the artist's signature as well as a Tressemann & Vogt Limoges hallmark used between 1892 and 1907.
This hand painted and artist signed, antique French beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
