A phenomenal sight to behold! I have owned a number of Rookwood examples by the renowned artist Elizabeth Neave Lincoln and this one has to top them all. Using a squat vase shape, Miss Lincoln was able to create a three dimensional floral design covering the top half of the body. Upon touching this vase, one can feel the actual leaves and petals of the blooms. A wonderful mottled rim completes the look. The bottom half of the vase has a different mottled pattern blending into a lighter sunset hue. The vase stands 4 1/2” tall and 3 3/4” across the top. The base spans 3 1/2” diameter with the middle measuring approximately 6 1/2” diameter. This is a clean vase, with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. It’s basically clean on the inside and out with no residue. I see no crazing even under magnification. A spectacular Rookwood example ready for the top shelf! Please enjoy the numerous pictures posted with this listing.
