Considering all of the patterns, shapes and colors the Roseville Pottery company produced over its history, I have often thought the mock orange line created in 1950 was among the best patterns they produced especially during the latter years. The art deco design coupled with the simplicity of the design really sets this line apart. Produced in three colors, pink, yellow and lime green, I feel the green is by far the most attractive. It was produced in a number of shapes including the 6” ewer. The piece stands just over 6 1/2” tall and measures 3 1/2” across the widest area of the body. This example is extremely clean with no damage or repairs noted. I see no staining or residue on the inside nor any staining to the normal crazing covering the outside of the piece. Catalogue number 916-6. I have included a number of pictures showing various angles of this item.
