An 18 inch long sterling silver and 14K gold necklace by the studio of modernist designer Ed Levin. Long sterling silver links are held together by 14K X's and O's which I believe represent hugs and kisses. This necklace is marked 'Ed Levin Sterling & 14K 2001. The '&' is very important because that indicates the gold is NOT gold plated on Ed Levin jewelry. It is genuine 14 karat gold that the X's and O's are made of. There are nine X's and nine O's all together.
This great studio piece is in excellent condition and comes with the originial box and materials.
