This adorable vintage Napco figurine depicts a young boy covering himself with a newspaper, trying to avoid the raindrops. His little black puppy sits at his feet, also keeping dry. I love the three dimensional aspect of this piece - there are even areas where the rain is splashing up from the base.
There is a silver label on the bottom that is hard to read, but I can see that it's a Napco label (National Pottery Company). The words 'Keeping Dry' are printed under the label.
At 5 1/4 inches high, this little guy is in excellent condition and dates from the 1950's or 1960's.
