Offered for the serious collector is this rare vintage postcard by Nash. In 1894 Congress declared Labor Day a National Federal holiday. This card is an example of an early celebration of this holiday. This card dates to 1910-1915 and is embossed with fantastic colors and images. Lady Liberty sits in front of her crest with an American eagle in gold behind her. Next to her are two laborers, one appears to be a farmer with his feast and another a iron workers Anvil. The card says "Service shall with steeled sinews toil. And Labour will refresh itself with hope." This card is in excellent almost mint condition. This card will arrive in a hard sleeve mailer for it's protection.
