This beautiful cabinet was made in Liege, Belgium and is an amazing addition for any home.
Antique solid oak cabinet, hand made and hand carved, owner has replaced the upper case with glass shelves.
Straight and curved glass panels are hand blown. Focal carved section is on the bottom center door, is hand carved and features a family of quail in the wild. The right side is hand carved and looks like a coat of arms with a shovel, sickle, fork and grapes with grape leaves. The left side is hand carved and features a sheaf of wheat with implements needed for harvest.
Top section has a height of 62" and a depth of 17", base has height of 37" and a depth of 23", width is 68" at the widest point. Cabinet was made in Liege, Belgium, ("The Grand Rapids" of European Furniture manufacturing). A couple of places have been reinforced with new wood and I can send you pictures if you request. The owner used the bottom piece separate from the top section at one time and had a piece of glass specially made to fit the top of the bottom section. This piece of glass is available also but doesn't fit on the cabinet when the top and the bottom are displayed as one piece.
