This doll has a sweet, pouty look, with brown intaglio eyes and a blond mohair wig. He has a carved wooden heard and a spring jointed wooded body in nice original condition, with slight wear at some of the joints and on hands. His right foot appears to have been repaired. He has the impressed Schoenhut label on the back of his body.
His outfit is old, but not sure if it is original. The black pants have several age holes. The black jacket is a velvet type material and also has a few holes. He wears replaced shoes and socks.
I can not tell for sure if there has been any repaint to the face. The eyebrows, eyes, and mouth look original, but I am not sure if there are any other areas that have been touched up. Since I am not an expert, and I can't "blacklight" it like I can to detect hairlines in a bisque doll. If you are seriously interested in this doll, you should know that it is a possibility that there are touch ups. Even if there is some re-paint, the doll is fairly rare, and the price has been set low.
