This is a very fine sapphire and diamond ring, dating from the Edwardian period circa 1900 and is a size 8.75. It features a large natural unheated sapphire cabochon which measures 2.50 carats. The stone is surrounded with a multitude of beautiful faceted diamonds. The diamonds have a total carat weight of 1.5. The yellow gold band is fairly wide, measuring slightly over 1/8" wide at the widest portions. The face of the ring sits 3/8" high from the band. Measuring north to south, the ring's face is 5/8" long. Very large and impressive. The diamonds have tremendous sparkle. Tested for 14 karat gold.
