Incised 4488 Germany on the underside of the bottle, this perfume bottle dates Art Deco period and is very charming. It features a porcelain bottle which is vase-like, displaying a bouquet of lovely open blossoms. The lid is the young woman, who sits atop the bouquet, demurely holding a rose. All hand painted. The figure at the top has hand painted hair, facial features, etc. When is she us pulled from the bottle, the half figure is seated on a cork, with glass dauber intact. I would say overall condition is outstanding with little or no wear, no damage, chips, etc. The bottle stand about 5" tall. We have pictured her on a mirrored vanity tray with other perfume bottles (not included in sale).
I sell vintage and antique items with a history; oftentimes items may show wear from a former life. I always try to note any serious condition issues.
