This remarkable antique purse is very fine and has an incredible array of rich colors...rose, plum, pink, ivory, coffee, sage, lavender, etc. on a field of beige. Large lilies, roses and other flowers adorn and surround beautiful exotic birds. The ivory silk lining is intact and in nice clean condition, save a tiny dark mark on one of the pockets inside, about the size of a pencil point. The interior is also accented with metallic lace. The frame on the purse is outstanding, with ornate embellishment and adorned with glass or faux gems. The clasp and dangle are adorned with something which looks like agate, but it may be glass stones. I can find no mark on the purse. It retains its original chain handle. Measuring right down the center of the purse, including the clasp, it measures 7". The widest portion also measures 7". Along the frame there are little jewels and medium sized jewels...one of the tiny jewels is intact and the rest of the teeny "jewels" are gone, leaving tiny cup shaped settings. Not really noticeable at all, however, due to the size of the cups or settings. The purse is clean and ready to use or display. Outstanding!
