Attractive Vintage Boy Mannequin dressed as a 'Matelot' or Sailor Boy. With glass eyes , articulated hands, full suit of clothes, plaster/composition body and metal stand .
The boy mannequin comes from Paris from the famous firm of Siegel & Stockman from the immediate post-war period when matelot costumes were still a fashionable way to dress a kid, as it had been back into Victorian times.
The metal stand slots into one of the boys heels enabling the figure to stand with firm balance.
The mannequin stands 53 inches tall and is in excellent condition.
