Magnificent heavy Brass Framed 'Split Plate' Mirror from a Paris Bar or Brasserie in the late 19th century 'Belle Epoque' era.
The two adjacent Mercurey silvered mirror plates, made in the period when there were still limitations on the size of silvered panels, are set into the heavy reeded brass frame with its original sturdy wooden back board.

In excellent condition. Made in Paris France circa 1870-1885 Measures 56 inches tall x 23 wide.
