Very fine example of a metal Weather Vane with Prancing Horse Pennant set above the weather pointer. Coming from the south of France, and made by a local artisan-blacksmith , the vane dates between 1840- 1880.]
A genuine and very collectible example of naive or folk art by an unknown local craftsman.
Measures 33 inches high x 23 wide. In obviously worn though stable condition with surface rust.
