Framed Straw-Work Picture from France of a Harbour Scene showing local buildings ,people in 19th century costume and small sailing craft. Pictures like this were traditionally made by prisoners of war, or else sailors on long voyages, using straw from their mattresses and glue from boiling the bones of fish.
