Early 20th Century Silver plated 'Chocolatiere' - a Chocolate Making Machine coming from an old café or restaurant in France. In early Art-Deco style the machine dismantles into three components,- the 3 legged base with side holes which has a copper pipe through it which would have carried hot water to heat the chocolate, the main middle unit with internal white china cylinder to hold the hot chocolate which was dispensed through the front tap , and a domed lid surmounted with black porcelain knob.
An interesting and decorative café fitting from a past era.
Measures 24 inches tall x 8.5 diameter with 4 inch front spout with tap. Circa 1920-1940 .
