Three Decorative Rainwater Hoppers from a 19th century building in southern France. Constructed of metal in a 'tolework' style using a combination of tinplate and zinc, the front bowls are attractively decorated with applied rosettes and swags and in the vestiges of old red-lead paint. In reasonable condition with wear and misshaping from years of use, when setting into place, the pliable metal will allow some reshaping where necessary. For use in a garden setting or as architectural embellishments, they will appeal to lovers of tolework.
Standing 30 inches high. Circa 1890-1930. Price is for the set of 3.
