I love the spun cotton figures that hung from Victorian feather trees. This unusual little printed cotton clothed clown is one of them.

The clown is 5 ½” tall from the top of his stocking cap to the bottom of his feet. He is hand made from cotton batting molded tightly around a wire armature. His face is a hand painted composition mask. He is dressed in a red and white printed cotton suit with a contrasting red, white and blue printed cotton collar ruff and blue and white printed stocking cap. His blue boots are made from crepe paper. He has a thread loop for hanging.

The little clown is in very good condition. His boots are rubbed and slightly soiled and there are two age spots on the back of his suit, but this does not detract from his charm. He is all ready to frolic on your feather tree! Please examine the pictures and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

While you are here, do enjoy the other Christmas ornaments I have available at this time.
