EXQUSITE Antique Victorian Etruscan revival memorial brooch in 18ct gold, beautiful layers of detailed Etruscan style gold metalwork and artistry.
The sentimental circa 1890s large brooch has a lovely star burst with a diamond in the center. The back of the brooch is complete with a hidden locket in which a cherished photograph or lock of hair or both, can be stored and kept close to the heart.
This one has a photograph of a gentleman who looks quite the character! It also contains a lock of hair. The catch is beautifully made in a form of a beehive, a most lovely and quality made Victorian locket brooch. The brooch is weighty and solidly made. It weighs about 16 grams.
It is truly magnificent and it can be worn as a brooch or hung from a chain.
This fine piece weighs about 16 grams, measures about 1.5 inches by about 1.25 inches and has a high profile of just under half an inch . The gold is 18Ct (tested). The condition is fabulous! Any white discoloration is reflection from the lighting.
