Coro Marked Floral Rhinestones Seed Pearl Layered Large Intricate Brooch Pin
$58.00 Too cool shades of green, dark and light, with a tease of pink, and blue and friendly little seed pearls mixed together,oh so happily, with a layer of sculpt leaves and vines forming a match made in heaven for one phenomenal vintage brooch! The layers are stacked upon a brushed gold tone metal base. The leaves and flower petals are stamped work. The brooch open work design lends itself to the possibility of putting it on a chain to make a great necklace. The pin brooch measures 2-1/2" across and 1-3/4" tall. The pin finding is marked Coro also and it works great...Great vintage condition..
CORO, INC., was one of the largest and most prolific costume jewelry manufacturing and wholesale companies in the United States and the world.
Coro was begun in 1901 by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger who opened a small accessories store on Broadway in New York City. Not until 1943, did the company name Coro, a contraction of the first two letters of each partner's last name, change to Coro, Inc.
