Mexican Panel Bracelet Signed Silver Taxco Mexico Boho Bohemian Chic C1940s
This is a Mexican Panel Bracelet Signed Silver Taxco Mexico. The bracelet is signed “Silver/Mexico” on the hook clasp and dates to the 1940s I believe. It measures 7-1/2" long and 1-1/4" wide. The bracelet has an Mayan/Aztec style influence and is very unusual and interesting. It weighs 39.5 grams. This iconic Mexican sterling set was made before the Americans and European came to Mexico and was first made of Mexican artisans. Closes with a wide hook. This gorgeous estate bracelet is wide and chunky and rhodium plated solid sterling silver. Rhodium is in the platinum family and is used to impart a brilliant silver color as well as prevent tarnishing. The silver is very bright and clean. Excellent vintage condition.
I have just listed the necklace that matches also...or you will have three bracelets..
