$48.00 This necklace has the most beautiful soft brown and cream agates that has been beautifully carved and polished to perfection! The necklace is 20" long. The beads are an average of 6 to 7 mm... some round and the others carved Banded agate ovals. There are wonderful layers of translucency and opaque qualities and each bead is completely unique. They have a very unique color pattern like a hike in the natural mountains of the southwest, nature at its best. They show beautiful banding in golden browns, russet, grays and the mixtures are heaven! This is a neutral yet very eye-catching accessory with shades of gray and translucence. Perfect for every day and business attire. The colors are very beautiful together. This one of a kind necklace is finished with a fancy silver clasp. It would go with and compliment RL9826 in my shop..Beyond Excellent condition.
Agate is a variety of chalcedony. It is formed from layers of quartz and many are banded of layers of various colors. Ancient civilizations believed that wearing agate would make them invisible and would protect them from danger. For many years agate was believed to be a healing stone as well as one that would bring prosperity.
