Lady Hat Figural Black Plastic Colorful Composite Material Inlay Pin Brooch
$20.00 This is a large vintage 1970s-80s lady wearing a hat with wonderful colorful composite material inlay pin. The lady is wearing a deco era hat with a big red flower and red earrings. It is impossible to capture the beautiful colors in the photos. Lee Sands did a lot of these in Hawaii and none were ever signed.. They came on cards. The pin is 2-3/8" long and 1-7/8" across. The pin is glued to the back, a simple safety clasp pin. The piece is in excellent condition.
I am sure you know that almost any pin can be attached to a strand of beads to enhance the look. She plays a dual role. By herself, this lady under the big hat is a beautiful pin made of hand inlaid mother-of-pearl iridescent shell. But if you'd rather wear her mysterious profile as a necklace, she easily attaches to any beads or chain. Imagine this pin on a strand of mother of pearl beads!
