Early 1900s French Limoges porcelain cup and saucer enhanced in sterling silver mounts. The porcelain cup insert and saucer feature a lovely pattern of pink and white roses on a blue border with gold trim. The saucer enhanced with a sterling silver gadrooned rim. The cup holder features a corresponding gadrooned border, the handle embellished with stylized foliage. Monogrammed with interlaced initials JO in elegant script. Cup measures 2 3/8" height x 2 1/4" diameter opening. Saucer measures 4 7/8" diameter. Silver mounts are fully hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark for .950/1000 silver. Maker's marks for Albert Deflon, active from 1907-1920 at 24 rue Beaubourg, Paris. In overall good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Some wear to the gold trim from use.
