A set of antique 19th century Minton porcelain hand painted dessert service comprising of 11 plates and a compote. Each with pink borders trimmed in gold gilt edges. Beautifully hand painted with topographical scenes of the English countryside. Marked to the reverse, each plate impressed Minton with a date mark. Date marks range for 1865, 1874 and 1881. Two plates additionally marked with the crowned globe. Each plate having a pattern number of A7018. Plates measure 9 1/4" diameter. Compote measures 2 3/8" tall and 9 3/8" diameter. In good condition overall. One plate having a small nick at the back of the rim, one having an inconspicuous tight hairline at the back of the rim, and another with a chip to the bottom rim at the back, visible in the pictures. Some wear to the center gold trim as shown. One or two plates with crazing.
