An antique 19th century Bohemian cut to clear scent or perfume bottle chatelaine. Of rich amber colored glass, circular in form with wheel cut faceted neck. Topped by a hinged brass lid and collar, suspended from a chain for a chatelaine. Decorated with a cut intaglio engraving depicting a 'spa' view of an architectural scene. A fine souvenir portraying the Conservatoire de musique de Genève. Founded in 1835 by François Bartholoni, the conservatory is the oldest music education institution in Switzerland and one of the oldest conservatory in Europe. In very good condition with some general wear, some scratches to the glass commensurate with age. Dimensions without the chain, measures 2 7/8" in length x 2 1/8" at its widest. *Display stand is not included
