An antique English sterling silver mounted cut glass liquor flask / whisky hip flask. The glass body decorated with fluted panels and lovely faceted shoulders. The sterling silver mounts comprise of a threaded lid with cork lined interior and removable drinking cup attached to the base. Decorated with an all over hammered pattern, also known as honeycomb, and gilt finish. Monogrammed with initials HS. In overall good condition for age and type with general wear/surface scratches from handling and use. The glass body having a couple of nibbles here and there to the raised areas of the cut pattern. The sterling mounts with no dings, dents or damage. The lid bearing hallmarks for London 1897, the drinking cup for London 1898. Maker's marks for Norman Marshal. Measures 5 1/2" length x 2 1/2" width.
