Gerard d'Albouy (1912-1985), alias OUY, was a renowned Parisian milliner, as well as art collector. His style is inspired from the post-impressionism school. Quoted in Akoum 2004 quote at 4,600 Euros for a 20x25.5 inches (50x65 cm) painting. Place Bellecour had the opportunity to acquire a part of his workshop estate. These paintings represent landscape and gardens from the South of France. His brush techniques varies from flat applications to juxtaposition of small strokes, all in vibrant colors.
