Fabulous pair of liturgical vestment cuffs or maniples made out of silver cloth embroidered with a gold thread floral design and lined in red. In the Eastern Orthodox Christian church they are known as Epimanikia (cuffs in Greek) and represent manacles or chains and remind the wearer of his position of service. Precise date and place of manufacture unknown, possibly Greece, Russia or other Slavic countries. In very good used condition as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
