Stunning Bohemian cabochon vase decorated with two rows of deep red raised jewel-shaped cut and beveled panels surrounded by an overall pattern of fine gilt scrolls. This glass decorating technique is known as Listovane, a costly process in which layers of glass are cut to form bevels, which are then polished and enameled with real gold. This technique was used by Bohemian glassmakers such as Moser, Egermann and Franz Heide. In very good condition as shown, medium size, would make a perfect gift.
