Extraordinary "Tetrao Urugallus" original hand colored ornithological lithograph from John Gould's 'The Birds of Great Britain'. It represents a Tetrao Urogallus also known as Capercaillie or Cock of the Wood. It is inscribed below the image as follows:

It comes ready to display with a cream colored mat and classic black wood frame. A copy of this lithograph dated 1873 is part of the Cornell University Library collection. In very good used condition with minor toning and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with packing number.
