Fine black and white lithograph of sailing vessels at sea signed in pencil below the image Gordon Grant. Gordon Hope Grant (1875-1962) was an American artist trained in England. He is best known for his portrayals of historic sailing vessels. Born and raised in San Francisco, upon his return from England Grant worked as an illustrator for the San Francisco Examiner. He was active in California while also maintaining a studio in New York City. The texture of the lithograph is such that, even under magnification, it has the appearance of an original drawing. Comes nicely matted and framed, ready to display. In very good used condition with toning as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
