Lovely Imari porcelain plate finely decorated in iron red, cobalt blue and gilt on a white ground. It has a center kamon or family crest of four elongated leaf shapes overlapping four wide, lobed leaves, possibly representing the union of two families. The plate has a wavy, scalloped border and a ridged, fan-like surface radiating from the center. It is decorated on the reverse, in typical Imari fashion, with painted blue plum blossoms and is marked on the center back with a round cornered double line square seal enclosing characters. In very good used condition with minor wear to paint as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: 8 1/2" diameter.
