Handsome, full length stipple engraving portrait of English nobleman, politician and soldier Sir Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter (1542-1623) in full regalia. Inscription on the page reads as follows:

Marcus Geeraerts the younger (Bruges, c. 1561/62 – 19 January 1636) was a Flemish artist working at the Tudor court where he was known as Mark Garrard. He was the chief portrait painter at Court during the later years of Elizabeth and the early years of James I. Geeraerts 1592 full length portrait of Queen Elizabeth is considered to be among the great masterpieces of early English painting.
George Perfect HARDING (1779/80-1853) was an English miniature painter.
Henry Bryan Hall (1808 London – 1884 New York), was an English stipple engraver and portrait painter. Before settling in New York in 1850 he worked for Henry Thomas Ryall who was designated 'Portrait and Historical Engraver to Her Majesty, Queen Victoria'.
William Pickering (1796-1854), was an English publisher and bookseller.
