Beautiful antique English Regency, sarcophagus shape, mahogany triple compartment tea box with rims and escutcheon inlaid in a lighter wood. A hard to find, complete example including original large glass mixing bowl; two lidded, removable tea storage compartments; and key. It stands on four ball brass feet and has knobs / handles and decorative roundels on the sides. We have seen similar tea caddies described as English, circa 1820. In very good used condition with minor scratches, wood shrinkage and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
