Fine watercolor painting depicting a farm scene of cow, sheep, rooster and chickens. It is signed on the lower right Gabani. Giuseppe Gabani (1846–1899) was a nineteenth century Italian painter known for his historical, landscape, animal paintings, and Orientalist subjects, mostly Arab warriors on horseback. Among his most famous works are "Count Baratieri at the head of his regiment, 24 June 1866", "Cavalli nella campagna" and "Carica del Genova Cavalleria". Gabani's works have sold for record prices at major international auction houses such Christie's, Sotheby's, Bonham's and others. It comes beautifully matted and framed, ready to display.
