Early Spode bowl decorated in Imari pattern number 967 decorated in green, cobalt, iron red and peach with gilt rim and accents. It is marked on the underside with a red, hand painted number 967 with a cipher above it and a green painted number 1. Made with great care and attention to detail, typical of older pieces. It was common for early Spode pieces to be marked with a pattern number and no Spode name. Pattern number 967 was first introduced in 1807 and is among the most sought after patterns Spode has ever made. In very good condition as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
