Early English Dr. Wall first period Worcester pair of different size footed bowls / cups both decorated inside and out in blue on an off white ground. The larger one is decorated with a fruit and flower motif and circular garlands all around the interior border and bottom of bowl. The exterior features a large pomegranate and the interior a differnt round, long stemmed fruit. The smaller bowl has a chinoiserie motif known as Fences with an Asian landscape with a house, a fenced in garden and flowers with two large birds, perhaps geese, flying overhead. Both are marked on the underside with one of Worcester's earliest marks, the crescent moon mark used before 1783 during Dr. Wall's period at Worcester. In very good used condition with minor imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: Floral Bowl: 3" diameter by 1 3/4" high; Chinoiserie Bowl: 2 3/16" diameter by 1 7/16" high approximately.
