Lovely antique Royal Worcester footed bowl with Asian influenced gilt elephant head shaped handles and decorated inside and out with a large, blue floral motif on a white ground. The bowl is marked on the underside with two Royal Worcester marks, a puce one with date letter W (1885) and a blue one with date letter X (1896). It also has an English Registration number 37600 which means that this design was first registered in the year 1885 and a puce colored retailer mark of Gilman Collamore & Co, Union Square New York, a high-end New York City importer of porcelain and glass. The bowl is in excellent condition, apparently never used in its 130 plus years. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
