Wilhelm Heine (1827-1885) was the official artist of Commodore Perry's expedition. Thomas S. Sinclair (1807- 1881) was a Scottish born and trained lithographer who immigrated to the US in the 1930's and became one of the premier Philadelphia lithographers of the 19th-century. Comes in a beautiful birdseye maple frame, matted and ready to display. In good used condition with minor foxing and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
