Austrian/Bohemian WS&S Wilhelm Schiller & Son majolica humidor / tobacco jar depicting ace World War I ace pilot, Manfred von Richthofen, better known as the Red Baron. It is marked on the underside WS&S and numbered 3338. The Majolikafabrik W. Schiller & Sohn was founded in 1850 in Obergrund. Wilhelm started out as an apprentice to a majolica pipe bowl manufacturer. Wilhelm's son Eduard Schiller joined as partner and continued with the business after his father's death. In very good used condition as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: 5 1/2" tall by 4 1/22 wide by 4 3/4" deep approximately.
