Lovely Art Deco period English sterling silver set comprised of twelve ( 12 ) / dozen small expresso / mokka / demitasse spoons and sugar tongs in a black leather case. All spoons are marked M&J for Marson & Jones silversmiths, an anchor in a shield mark for Birmingham, the lion passant mark for sterling silver and the capital letter G in a shield representing the year 1931. The sugar tongs are marked I.M.H into an oblong chamfered rectangle for silversmith I M Hutchfield from Harford Works, Harford Street; the anchor for Birmingham and a lower case letter v in a shield, the year mark for 1920. In very good used condition with minor signs of age and use and imperfections to case as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
