Interesting collection of 25 Swiss marksmanship awards / medals / badges spanning three decades, from the 1930's to the 1950's, along with a 1941 recognition certificate for shooting performance and a black and gilt braided piece ending in two acorns known as Schützenschnur, a badge of marksmanship proficiency. An image of a similar Schützenschnur appears in a document entitled DIE SCHWEIZERISCHE ARMEE IHRE UNIFORMEN UND ABZEICHEN (Swiss Armed Forces Rank and Branch of Service).
