Antique Roman architectural view entitled Porta Pía ot. Viminales after 18th century arquitect and printmaker Giuseppe Vasi (1710-1782), a contemporary of Giambattista Piranesi. Inscription below the image reads as follows:

It portrays Charles of Bourbon, King of the Two Sicilies, visiting Pope Benedict XIV on November 1744. The trees seen above the wall on the far left are part of the Villa Patrizi Gardens. In good used condition with overall toning and mounted between cardboard backing and mat. Imperfections to mat as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
