Fine porcelain cabinet plate decorated with a center medallion of the Battle of Trafalgar probably after the oil painting Auguste Etienne Francois Mayer - The Redoutable at Trafalgar. The hand painted battle scene is signed on the lower right with artist initials M. C. and is surrounded by a wide blue rim edged with gilt and a raised foliate decorative border. The plate is marked on the underside with a green stamped Paul Muller Selb Bavaria mark used in the 1920 to 1928 period. In very good used condition as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
