Fine pair of silver on copper WMF salt and pepper shakers in a classic design. They are fully marked on the underside with the three letters, "W", "M", and "F", placed in a rectangle, the mark used by WMF in the 1920-1925 period. WMF stands for WÜRTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWARENFABRIK and was founded in 1880 in Germany. It produced a wide range of silver-plated articles, mostly in the Jugendstil / Art Nouveau style. In very good used condition with minor wear to plate. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: 5 1/4" tall by 2" base diameter (13.3 cm tall by 5 cm) approximately.
